One million football fans watch matches every week throughout the football season. Some fans opt to just visit the stadium for the game and return home afterwards but an increasing number are deciding to turn the match into an opportunity to take a city break of up to three days.
Generally the major cities of the country are those that attract the city breakers and this site concentrates on visits to those. This guide includes general information on the cities and their football clubs, including travel, things to do, city and football club history etc.
